According to Indian Mythology Mt Trisul I, II & III are Lord Shivas abode in Garhwal Himalayas. It lies in the inner core of the periphery of the Nanda Devi Biosphere reserve. The peak derives its name from the Trident of Lord Shiva. The region receives 60 to 100 feet of snow in the winter.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi meet our manager and transfer to pre booked hotel in Delhi. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Rishikesh 225 kms/ 6-7 hrs (by private vehicles)

In the morning meet our expedition manager and drive for the official expedition briefing in Indian Mountaineering Foundations (IMF). After briefing drive directly to Rishikesh. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Rishikesh – Ghat

After an early breakfast drive to Ghat via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Ghat is a huge village with more than a couple of schools, government offices and more or less happening market for the nearby villages. Overnight in guest house/ hotel.

 Day 04: Ghat â Shitel (14 kms by car/1 hrs) – Sutol (5 kms trek/2-3hr)

Its time to board typical Himalayan village jeeps which will take you to Shitel village, a small center with a handful of shacks serving as village shops and is our starting point for the expedition. This drive is of 11 km and will take around one hour. You meet our porters at this point. The trail from here is well distinctive with continuous switch backs winds to the ridge from where you can see settlements of local villages. From here its walk through the village full of colors of Himalayan inhabitants makes hike more entertaining. After passing through couple of cluster settlements the trail takes you go past the village to an open plateau above Sutol village which is our campsite for the day. Overnight in the tents.

Day 05: Sutol – Lata Khopri – Chandaniya Ghat (12 kms/5-6 hrs)

The day requires an essential early start not only to negotiate the long day but also to acquaint beautiful Himalayan views. From here the trail continues to climb gently, passing through beautiful forests of Rhododendron, Oak, Birch, followed by small pasture grasslands for sheeps and cattles with some nomadic huts. The trail from this point climbs with a couple of switch backs which again becomes gentle and takes you to Chandaniya Ghat. Overnight in the tents.

Day 06: Chandaniya Ghat – Homkund BC (11 kms/6 hrs)

In the morning after breakfast we will trek towards Homkund through Dodang.

Day 07: Homkund BC

The day is for acclimatisation and exploration for the surrounding area. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 08: Homkund BC - Camp I (Load ferry)

The day is for load ferry. Today we will approach towards Camp I. through some bolders and moraine. Overnight in tent.

Day 09 – Day 14: Camp I – Camp II – Summit Camp – Back to Homkund BC

From day 09 to day 14 we will start camp I to Camp II and then Summit to Trishul III. Then back to Base camp. Overnight stay in Camp I, Camp II and BC in tents.

Day 15: Homkund BC – Chandaniya Ghat

After breakfast gentle walk towards Chandaniya Ghat. It’s totally downwards. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 16: Chandaniya Ghat – Sutol

In the morning after breakfast trek down to Sutol village via a thick forest of Birch, bamboo and oak. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 17: Sutol – Ghat â Rishikesh

In the morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Rudra Prayag and Devprayag. One can stop at Devprayag to see the confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi River. From here the Holy Ganges started. On arrival check in to hotel. By evening visit the Temple & Ashram at Rishikesh. Join the Holy Aarti at Ganges. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 18: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

Today after breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi check in to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 19: Delhi Departure
